Staff Training and Support

We provide stimulating and exciting activities to encourage the children to learn through play. Our staff implement the Curriculum Framework set by the Scottish executive for children aged 0-3 and 3-5.

At Technotots we encourage our staff to develop professionally by providing a variety of in-house and day release courses. Training is important to us - we firmly believe our staff should have the opportunity to improve their qualifications and knowledge whilst employed.

Technotots offers a variety of training courses to suit everyone's individual needs, taking in to account previous knowledge and experience. This includes professional qualifications as well as first aid, health and safety, child protection etc.

All new staff receive a comprehensive induction programme of training as they start their career with us. Their induction covers the extensive range of room practices to familiarise themselves with our standards and procedures.

Staff ratios are
1:3 for 0-2 year olds
1:5 for 2-3 year olds
1:8 for 3-5 year olds.
